The chroniton problem will be fixed sooner or later...either they introduce new levels, or they give us the possibility to donate into the void. Once that happens, we will be behind months compared to other fleets.

Trying to fix this is a lot of work regardless, hopefully we can mitigate the potential for long term problems.  Just thinking out loud.

It seems we would have to collect all the DBID's regardless, for option 1, 2 and 3.  If option 1 has no certainty of working, I think option 3 is better (especially with that link, it looks like it's been done before).  We keep everyone as is, and the problem is fixed.  If we disband, we have to collect everyone and we might lose some members.

Option 2 seems like the most work, that 100 chronitons a day is the only plus for the short term, we don't know what else DB has in store for starbases; they might add more room upgrades or do something new all together (on the other hand, it's a loss if they do nothing and we lose out on the 100 chrons).  Of course then we have the problem of running upgrades around the clock trying to get back where we were.  I am running through 675 tickets in my arena right now, it is a chore to even wait for the 3 min cooldown. I can imagine waiting for the room cooldowns and then having all the members with the donated materials to supply the starbase without fail, a lot of coordination for the 100 chrons, have to weigh it and see if it's worth it.

The only reason I suggested waiting it out with 49/50 is that it seems that they're going to completely break what is half broken, it's like they can't change a flat tire so we have to buy a new car?  I'd just drive on the spare until someone figures it out.


If I were to chose between them, I'd go - 3, 4, 2, 1.

I agree with 4,3,2,1. If we can get DB to do most of the work it would take a lot of the stress out of the whole thing. Also agree that giving us the materials to get up starbase levels is pointless since we never really struggled and were consistently upgrading.

I agree this all sounds like a bunch of horseshit, but I am down to do whatever you think is in our best long-term interests. My current DBID is 678408158052352. Allow to play devils advocate for a second, if we know which skills require the holoemitters at level six we could maximize those rooms first the build the rooms that use holo emitters at level 5 before we do the other variation at level 6. Just an idea, but as I said I will go with the group recommendation.

I think disbanding the fleet and reforming should be the last possible option for one main reason.

If this is a persistent problem that exists in STT and has been seen in other fleets, there's absolutely nothing that says it couldn't just happen to us again. It would be a lot of wasted work all over again. To me, the problem just isn't worth the effort.

Personally, running at 49 doesn't bother me much. We do fine. When DB does its job and fixes the problem, awesome. Until then, whatever!

I think everyone should put their DBID # in their Starfleet ID Card.  There is a section for this number already available.  It might be easier than searching the forums for 49 DBID's

In any case my DBID is 707090921361410

I like option 4 the best.

Option 1: I don't like the 50/50 part of this plan...
Option 2: We all get our share of supplies. Nice, but we'll be behind and what if someone decides to leave or if 3 people leave or 5... but I'd like the 100 chrons a day.
Option 3: Seems logical
Option 4: Doesn't sound bad either depending how long it'll take.

With the recent (as in, today) increase in Starbase level again, option 2 is less interesting for me than it was yesterday. So my vote would go to either option 3 or 4. I'd say give option 3 a try, if it doesnt work we'll just show everyone that a 49 people fleet can beat any 50 people fleet ;-).

Also, Spock, whatever you did....NEVER DO IT AGAIN !

I am starting to feel Option 3. At any rate, option 2 or 3, we need to collect all DBIDs. Everyone has 5 days to provide DBID at the risk of being lost forever. :/

Starfleet ID Cards do have a field for your DBID. To see your ID card look under your profile. 

It would be helpful if members added DBID to card. However, using ID cards are not mandatory. I will be looking at editing the rules so moving forward new members will need to provide DBID to me. 

Please help spread the message to leave your DBID here. As mentioned, I encourage adding DBID to ID card, but make sure you post here too while we work through this issue. I am working with DB using the data from this topic.
